Our Team

Rev. David Teel

Senior Pastor

As a pastor of 19-plus years, David has served churches in urban, inner-city, and rural settings. He answered the call into pastoral ministry while a member of Southside United Methodist Church located near Gadsden, Alabama. While at Southside, he sang in the praise team and choir, taught Sunday School, led a Kids for Christ group on Wednesday nights, and was the chairperson of the worship committee.

Throughout his time as a pastor, he has served on C.O.S.R.O.W. (Commission On the Status and Role of Women), the North Alabama Conference Nominations Team, the Northwest District Operations Team, dCOM (District Committee on Ministry), and as the District Candidacy Coordinator. He loves the connectedness of our United Methodist Church!

As a pastor, he is focused on people, preaching, strategic planning, community engagement, and adaptive leadership. He loves to be around people and helping others discover their gifts and graces for ministry. He also enjoys preaching and interacting with the congregation throughout the sermon.

When not leading worship, visiting with members and visitors, or leading a Bible study, there are many things that keep him busy. He loves spending time with his wife, Angela, and their daughter, Sophia. He likes to explore new places and meeting new people. He also enjoys hiking and exercising. He and Angela are members of Irontribe. They have hiked around the Moss Rock Preserve, Oak Mountain, and in Cheaha State Park. He is involved with theater and music. Of all the roles he has played, Ichabod Crane, in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, is his favorite.

Rev. Daniel Chung Ho Lee

Associate Pastor

Daniel Chung Ho Lee has been serving as an associate pastor at All Saints Church since July 2024. Born and raised in a small rural community in South Korea, he dreamed of serving God as a missionary from a young age under the influence of prayerful and faithful parents. After leaving the military in South Korea, he served as a missionary in Gujarat, India, where he came to realize that the Lord had called him there not because He needed his abilities, but because He wanted him to experience the gospel of Christ's love for him more deeply. And he realized that his calling was to continue to walk a journey of grace, humbly testifying to the grace of God who is still working within him and growing him.

And he has been on a journey of grace ever since, from rural South Korea to Maine, New Hampshire, and Alabama, from children in the slums of India to college students and professors in the Boston area, and everywhere in between, where he has been captivated by the beauty of the gospel of Christ's grace and found it in lifting up the vulnerable to witness to the incomparable glory of God's kingdom.

He studied theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary near Boston, where he earned a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Biblical Languages, and is an ordained elder in the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church. He currently lives in Birmingham with his wife, Jinah Kim, who is in residency to become an endodontist at UAB.

He enjoys walking and hiking with his wife and loves music, art, and cooking.

William Murray

Worship Leader

I had my life radically changed at 5 years old when my dad first played The Beatles for me. I was immediately hooked and knew playing and performing music was what I wanted to do. Having been involved in the United Methodist Church for longer than I can recall, it was a perfect place to combine and explore my love of music and my church community. Growing up in Florence, Alabama I was involved in choir, youth, and visited Camp Sumatanga as often as possible. My extracurricular activities largely revolved around starting bands, including the infamous Fly-By Radio.

I have well over a decade experience in leading worship and working with youth in the UMC professionally and many more as a volunteer. My wife Jennifer and I have lived in Trussville for almost seven years with our four children: twins John & Clara Grace (19), Rainey (18), and Keller (14). We have two dogs and I still moonlight in a country punk folk rock band called The Painful Reminders.

We did not find a welcoming church home here until attending All Saints. It has been an incredible blessing and I am thrilled to be able to participate more actively as worship leader. I cannot wait to see what a force for hope and love we become in this community.

Maddie Moravek

Children’s Ministry Intern

Hi All Saints! My name is Maddie Moravek and I am a rising Senior at Samford University studying Christian and Religious Studies. Until recently, I attended Birmingham-Southern College as a religion student. I am originally from the Chicago area in Illinois and have so enjoyed the warm weather of Alabama. During my time at BSC, I was on the leadership team for Religious Life, I was a Wesley Fellowship Leader, and I interned at a church in my hometown where I got the opportunity to write curriculum for Sunday School and assist in planning worship. In the future, I plan to attend divinity school to pursue ordainment as an Elder in the United Methodist Church.

I've worked in summer camps and around kids for several years and there is nothing better than getting to see the world through a child's eyes. I am so excited to work with the children and parents of All Saints as we grow together and create a program that the kids will benefit from. I feel so blessed to have been welcomed into a church as loving as All Saints.

Wesley Brown

Youth Ministry Intern

I am from Columbus, Georgia, and came to Birmingham for school. I am a former Birmingham-Southern student pursuing a Religion major. While there I was active in multiple Methodist campus groups and eventually found my calling to ministry. I will complete my Undergraduate degree at Samford University, and later plan to go pursue a JD and a Master’s of Divinity. I am incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to work with the Youth at All Saints.
